The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is located in Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile in Luxor, Egypt. It's also known as Djeser-Djeseru. The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut is an architectural masterpiece built to honor Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s only female pharaoh. The temple is carved into the cliffs of the Theban (Modern Luxor) Mountains and features stunning terraces, columns, and statues.
